This is my all-time favorite plate (we'll have to see what March brings!) The detail I achieved in the loon was a pleasant surprise. The elegant combination of this spectrum streaky slate blue/purple and black glass is complimented perfectly by the lustrous cobalt blue color of the antique nickel finish. This plate has such a calm, relaxing feel to it, it instantly reminded me of the dead-calm mornings on the Seeley-Swan.
